- 3Get your result
Tool input and files are processed in this browser without being uploaded.
Before you start
Find email addresses in a copied contact list, message or text/HTML source file. Review the distinct addresses, then copy or download the list.
How to use this tool
- Choose Pasted text or Text file. Paste a list, message or HTML snippet, or select one UTF-8 file.
- Choose whether addresses that differ only in letter case should be merged; the first spelling is kept.
- Extract, review the count and preview, then copy or download the full one-address-per-line TXT list.
Supported inputs and limits
Up to 1 MiB pasted text or one UTF-8 text file up to 10 MiB; up to 50,000 lines and 50,000 address matches. HTML and CSV are scanned as text, not parsed into fields.
Recognizes common ASCII addresses with dot-atom local parts and domain names. Quoted local parts and internationalized addresses are not covered; no mailbox, consent or deliverability check is performed.
Worked example
Example input
Ada <[email protected]>; [email protected]; [email protected]
Example options
{"ignoreCase":true}Example output
[email protected] [email protected]
When something does not work
If no addresses appear, confirm the active source is the pasted text or selected UTF-8 file. Quoted and internationalized addresses are outside this common-ASCII extractor.
Frequently asked questions
Can I scan HTML or CSV?
Yes, when the file is UTF-8 text. The tool looks for addresses anywhere in the raw text, including markup or CSV cells; it does not parse columns or rendered HTML, and it does not read PDF or DOCX.
How are duplicates handled?
Domain case is ignored. By default, the entire address is compared without letter case and the first spelling is kept. Turn off case merging when uppercase and lowercase local parts must stay distinct.
Does this verify contacts or permission?
No. A plausible syntax match does not prove a mailbox exists, accepts mail, or can lawfully be contacted. Check your source before using the list.
Are files uploaded?
No. The selected text or file is read in this browser. Copy or download the result before closing the tab.
