Tool input and files are processed in this browser without being uploaded.
Before you start
Create an EPUB 3 book from readable plain text. Detect Chinese or English chapter headings, or edit the chapter line list. The book contains editable text and a navigation table, not page images.
How to use this tool
- Paste content into “TXT” or choose a local file; if using a file, inspect and confirm its decoded preview.
- Review the detected chapters, adjust the chapter list if needed, and check Book title, Author and Book language (BCP 47).
- Create the EPUB, inspect its chapter summary and download the book.
Supported inputs and limits
One plain-text file or text input up to 10 MiB. Optional local PNG/JPEG cover up to 5 MiB. At most 1,000 chapters; title and author up to 300 characters. For file input, inspect and confirm the decoded preview before exporting.

Keep a copy of the source. For legacy encodings, select the encoding that makes the preview readable, then confirm it before exporting. An unreadable preview is not a successful conversion.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.
What if chapter detection is wrong?
Inspect headings and opening text in the chapter editor. Adjust the heading rule, detect again, then correct the chapter list. Review the first chapter, short sections and appendices before generating.
Why do page breaks change between readers?
EPUB text reflows with screen size, fonts and reader settings. Check navigation and paragraphs in the intended reading app rather than treating preview pagination as fixed.
