Tool input and files are processed in this browser without being uploaded.
Before you start
Inspect an EPUB’s existing title, first author and language, then edit those fields or add a local cover. Unchanged creator entries and chapter files are preserved. Encrypted books are rejected and the original stays unchanged.
How to use this tool
- Choose the local .epub file. The working copy stays in this browser.
- Review the book’s existing information and the prefilled Book title, Author and Book language fields. Optionally choose a JPEG or PNG cover, then select “Save book information”.
- Download the new EPUB and reopen it in your intended reader to check the book information, cover and chapters.
Supported inputs and limits
Document packages are limited to 20 MiB, 2,000 entries and 100 MiB expanded; macros and external relationships are not executed.
Cover editing updates the cover image resource or metadata. It does not rewrite a cover page or add a visible first page.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.
What should I check in this result?
Inspect the original values and check the downloaded copy in a reader. Changing the author replaces multiple creator entries; leaving the first author unchanged preserves them.
