Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.
Are PDFs automatically sorted by name?
No. The merge follows the current file queue. Use the move-up and move-down buttons to order files, then check section boundaries in the downloaded PDF.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted or damaged PDFs are rejected. Use unencrypted files you are authorized to access; this tool does not bypass passwords.
What happens to forms, signatures and bookmarks?
PDFs with interactive form fields, XFA or detected digital signatures are rejected to avoid losing those features. Flatten supported unsigned forms first if you need their visible values. Document bookmarks and attachments are not copied; keep the source files.
