Tool input and files are processed in this browser without being uploaded.
Before you start
Split one PDF into a file for each comma-separated page or range, or export every page separately. Multiple results include a ZIP. The source stays in the browser; signed PDFs and interactive forms are rejected.
How to use this tool
- Choose one local .pdf file and select page ranges or one file per page.
- For ranges, enter comma-separated groups such as 1-2,3. Each group becomes its own PDF; unlisted pages are omitted.
- Select “Split PDF”, inspect the source-page mapping and preview, then download individual PDFs or the ZIP.
Supported inputs and limits
One unencrypted PDF, up to 30 MiB and 300 pages. Total generated PDFs are limited to 100 MiB; keep the original.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.
What happens to pages outside my ranges?
They are omitted. Each comma-separated group makes one PDF in the entered order; entering all copies every page into a single output. Invalid, reversed and out-of-bounds ranges are rejected.
Can I choose filenames or keep forms and bookmarks?
Outputs are named part-1.pdf, part-2.pdf and so on; custom names are not available. Interactive forms and detected signatures are rejected. Document bookmarks and attachments are not copied, so keep the original.
