Options

Complete the required options first. You can keep the defaults for the rest.

Preparing the tool…

Before you start

Change pasted text with Unicode upper/lower mappings or English-oriented title, sentence and surname-first modes. The surname mode makes the first Latin word of each line uppercase and title-cases the remaining English words; review names and acronyms manually.

How to use this tool

  1. Paste content into “Text”, or load the example to try it.
  2. Choose lowercase, uppercase, English title or sentence case, or SURNAME Given Name for one name per line; then select “Convert case”.
  3. Compare the output with the source, especially names and acronyms, then copy or download result.txt.

Supported inputs and limits

Pasted text is limited to 1 MiB; review the result before using it.

Hello World
Example options
{

}

Example output

hello world

When something does not work

Paste no more than 1 MiB of text. Review names, acronyms, apostrophes and non-English words after conversion; use one name per line for the surname mode.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.

What should I check in this result?

Upper/lower use Unicode mappings. The other modes target Latin letters and leave unrelated scripts intact; they do not understand a language's title conventions, particles, initials or multiword surnames. The surname mode treats the first Latin word on each line as the surname.
