ZIP File List
Search a ZIP’s contents and export its file list as CSV or text.
- 1Add input
- 2Review and run
- 3Get your result
Tool input and files are processed in this browser without being uploaded.
Before you start
Search the paths in a ZIP and export a CSV inventory or plain-text path list without extracting its files. See declared sizes and compression methods. Listing does not verify CRC or file contents.
How to use this tool
- Choose a local .zip file; it stays in your browser.
- Select “List ZIP files”, then search the paths and review declared sizes.
- Copy all paths or download the CSV or TXT manifest. The search only filters the on-screen table; exports include every entry.
Supported inputs and limits
ZIP reading accepts up to 50 MiB and 1,000 entries, with a 100 MiB declared expanded-size limit. Encrypted, ZIP64, symlink and traversal entries are rejected.
Worked example
Example input
independent.zip
Example options
{}Example output
independent-paths.txt: nested/你好.txt empty.txt binary.bin CSV also includes type, declared sizes and compression method.
When something does not work
Encrypted archives, path traversal, links, unsupported methods and excessive declared expansion are rejected. A corrupt file payload can still appear in the list; use ZIP Extract for CRC verification.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.
Does this tell me whether the ZIP is intact?
No. The list checks supported ZIP directory structure and paths but does not decompress each file or verify its CRC. Use ZIP Extract to verify the files you need.
