    Preparing the tool…

    Before you start

Add visible page numbers to a handout or merged PDF. Keep a cover unnumbered, choose where numbering starts, and preview each page before download.

    How to use this tool

    1. Choose a local PDF.
    2. Choose how many opening pages to leave unnumbered, the first printed number and its position.
    3. Add numbers, inspect the result page by page, then download the PDF.

    Supported inputs and limits

Page numbers are drawn over existing content, including on rotated pages; content is not moved to make room.

PDFs stay in your browser. The limit is 30 MiB and 300 pages.
