Before you start
Turn headings, paragraphs, emphasis, lists, code blocks and simple Markdown tables into editable Word document elements. Complex HTML, mathematics and remote images are not fetched or rendered.
How to use this tool
- Paste content into “Markdown input” or choose a local file.
- Review Document title, Paper size, Body font size (pt) before selecting “Create Word document”.
- Download the DOCX and open it in Word or a compatible editor to check headings, numbering and table cells.
Supported inputs and limits
Pasted Markdown is limited to 1 MiB; one local Markdown file may be up to 20 MiB. The DOCX contains editable supported structures; raw HTML, equations and images are not rendered, and link text is not a clickable hyperlink.

When something does not work
Keep a copy of the Markdown source. If a table has more cells than its header, correct the row before exporting; check the downloaded Word document in your editor.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Files and tool input are processed in your browser. Moving around the site can keep a temporary workspace in the same tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it, so download results you want to keep.
Is the Word output editable?
Supported Markdown structures become real DOCX document elements that compatible word processors can edit. Complex layouts, raw HTML and remote images are not fully reproduced.
How should I verify the conversion?
Open the download in Word or a compatible app and check headings, lists, tables and non-Latin text. Layout may vary with fonts and software.
