Before you start

Inspect an HTTP or HTTPS link before using it: see its destination, path, fragment, and query parameters in order. A fragment written as key=value pairs is decoded separately, including access_token values. The link is never opened.

How to use this tool

  1. Paste a full HTTP or HTTPS URL.
  2. Check the origin and path, then scan query parameters and any key=value fragment parameters in order. Compare decoded values with encoded text and notice repeated keys.
  3. Copy or download the JSON if you need the parsed result elsewhere.

Supported inputs and limits

Only full HTTP/HTTPS URLs are accepted. The parser does not open the link, follow redirects, verify the destination, or determine how a server handles repeated keys.

Query parameters use form decoding: + becomes a space and %2B becomes +. The path and raw query stay encoded. Username/password values in a URL are omitted from the result.

Processing stays in your browser. Pasted text is limited to 1 MiB.

Fragment parameters are included in copied and downloaded JSON. They may contain access tokens; keep the result private. Opaque fragments remain raw text.

When something does not work

Enter one full HTTP or HTTPS URL. Remove line breaks or tabs inside it; other schemes are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool visit the URL?

No. It only parses the text in your browser; it does not request the destination or follow redirects.

What happens to repeated parameters and plus signs?

Repeated keys remain separate and in order. In query parameters, + decodes to a space while %2B decodes to a plus sign; the original encoded pair is shown when different.

Can this validate that a link is safe?

No. It shows parsed components but cannot verify the destination, server behavior or link safety.
